Warm-up with Small Vibrations

Small vibrations is a great exercise to open the body before a qigong session. Stand with your feet parallel and shoulders-width apart. Place one palm above the navel and the other resting below. With your toes slightly gripping the ground, bounce your heels up and down. Keep everything relaxed and loose. You can gently turn from side-to-side while you bounce or keep your shoulders straight. Try five to ten minutes of small vibrations and then transition directly into a gathering qi set.
